JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading food and beverage company is looking for an Emirati Procurement Director.

Job Responsibilities:
• Management of all the group procurement activities with the management of 6 working streams namely, Commodities, Raw and Pack, Capex/MRO/Services, Vendor Development, Governance/Clearance/Expeditors
• Manage entire end-to-end purchasing cycle including sourcing suppliers, negotiating price, terms and conditions, developing legal contracts, employing structured purchasing processes and the application of TCO, SRM strategies.
• Guide development and implementation of comprehensive, cohesive strategy for sourcing and transactional systems and policies.
• Ensure compliance with strict quality, GMP, and legal requirements, as well as adherence to aggressive needs of multiple internal stakeholder groups.
• Oversee preparation of purchase orders annually through a complex, automated ERP system.
• Lead diverse team of purchasing professional and support staff across five locations.
• Set procurement vision for medium and long term horizon
• Optimise procurement organisational structure
• Drive strategic category management and sourcing activities across direct and indirect spend

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in a supply chain, procurement or relevant management discipline.
• Relevant professional accreditation
• UAE National
• Industry qualified within procurement profession (MCIPS or equivalent).
• At least 10 - 15 years of experience in FMCG industry
