Procurement Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer specializing in interior fitout projects to join our team in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior turnkey fitout and a proven track record in procurement processes within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to interior fitout projects.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for interior fitout materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications for procurement purposes.
- Monitor and manage procurement schedules to align with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all procurement activities.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the interior fitout or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of interior fitout materials, suppliers, and market trends.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and interpret project requirements and technical specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
