An exciting procurement executive position with a global conglomerate
Client Details
A diversified global conglomerate
Description
* Responsible for placing purchase order
* Responsible to Coordinate and communicate between the suppliers and plant for the requirements and ensure that the requirements are well met
* Responsible for placing purchase orders and verification of price for logistics purchase as per contracted/agreed rate
* Responsible for updating freight conditions in the system
* Ensure all packaging materials requirements are handled and met as per agreed service levels.
* Communicate the outcome of the production plan meeting to all suppliers by way of call off to suppliers
* Monitor contract volume v/s actual performance on monthly basis for all packaging suppliers
* Responsible for placing purchase order to suppliers after comparison of price for opex purchases with targeted savings
* Updating Opex purchase details in KPI file to record savings
* Ensure all operations are performed in SAP and OPTIMA effectively and efficiently within the responsible area
* Rotation of other procurement executives jobs whenever needed

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge
* Well versed in MS Office & Good Knowledge of ERP( SAP - Procurement function)
* Working knowledge of Procurement is important.
Skills
* Team Player and Inter Personal Skills
* Negotiation and communication skills with positive attitude
Experience
* 3- 5 years experience in handling similar role in a reasonably complex multinational environment,
* FMCG or oil & gas experience
Education
* Graduate / Engineering Degree in any discipline.
