JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our Interior Fit out team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of quality materials and services to support our projects. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, strategic sourcing expertise, and a thorough understanding of the fit-out industry supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company goals.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with project managers and design teams to understand material specifications and delivery timelines.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to optimize procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and quality standards.
- Prepare regular procurement reports and budgets for senior management.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to enhance performance and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in the Interior Fit out or related construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Excellent understanding of procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations and market dynamics in the interior fit-out sector.
