JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in Ajman, UAE. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the real estate industry. You will ensure that our projects are supplied with high-quality materials and services at the best possible prices, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing procurement teams.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; Arabic is a must to this role
