JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in the fit-out and interior designing industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, services, and supplies necessary for our projects. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and project requirements.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing to secure the best value for the organization.
- Maintain and manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, pricing, and availability of materials and services.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of specifications and requirements.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, coordinating with project managers to forecast needs and prevent shortages.
- Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into procurement activities and performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the fit-out and interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Fluency in English and Tagalog is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical procurement practices and sustainability.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
