Role: Procurement Operational Team Leader
Client Industry: Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Contract Duration: 6 months (Extendable)

Overview:
To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for a Procurement Operational Team Leader. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization. Ensure execution in accordance with Company and Supply Chain Management (SCM) instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor accurate processing of Procurement transactions.
• Oversee organization and work allocation for individuals involved in processing.
• Identify, recommend, and assist in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains, eliminate inefficiencies.
• Set and monitor team goals delivery, while providing regular feedback to team members.
• Lead, manage and complete the part qualification at the suppliers for the identified products / pro-jects with right quality on time.
• Collaborate with key stake holders like GPS, R&D, SCM category manager, PLM team and drive the part qualification.
• Documentation When managing specific projects, documents general and special conditions for use on all project purchase documents, project procurement procedures, and project procurement plans and ensures compliance, if applicable.
• Ensure that all relevant documents are collated and shared appropriately.
• Ensure that the Part qualification reports as prepared and validated inline to the Part qualification instructions and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts proactively and if needed escalate, seek help from leadership or Management to ensure progress is on track.
• Manage day to day activities with portfolio of international suppliers, fulfilling needs of internal and external stakeholders, including PO creation, tracking goods receipt, issue resolution etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal Candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree with relevant years of experience in Supply chain management.
• At least 4 years of experience in the following areas: Supply Chain - - Management/Procurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership exposure (direct team leadership or coordination).
• Good Excel knowledge would be a strong plus.
