JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Ensure the profitable growth of the enterprise.
- Establish best in class payment terms.
- Establish top tier pricing.
- Prepare all material plans and ensure compliance to all purchasing policies.
- Pre-qualify suppliers based on the organizations requirement and maintain the approved suppliers list.
- Coordinate with vendors to provide required quotesand evaluate all quotes.
- Evaluate all supplier performance and suggest improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the suppliers and internal departments in dealing with non conforming supplies.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all suppliers and prepare reports.
- Provide support to all managers to plan and execute all purchasing processes and provide an effective interface with all departments.
- Maintain an efficient purchase order system and manages all communication with suppliers and internal departments.
- Manage all supplier contracts and assist to administer best pricing strategies for all purchase materials and suppliers.
- Analyze all new issues in materials and recommend strategies to improve quality and manage inventory levels for all products.
- Prepare appropriate budget and implement all optimal contract negotiation.
- Supervise all suppliers audits as necessary and evaluate all purchase order for information adequacy and follow up for releasing the payment.
- Prepare all contract terms and conditions and ensure to eliminate any discrepancy in the same.
- QHSE Management and Support.
- Ensure achievement of QRTS Objectives.
- Ensure orders are completed adequately.
- Assign budgets for RTS performance evaluation.
- Take part as applicable in Mock Drills and trainings related to RTS.
- Participating in Root Cause and implementing corrective action as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of Transportation Industry or related Procurement experience in UAE
- Negotiation Skills
- Decision Making Skills
- Excellent knowledge of spare parts and market conditions
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Time management and prioritizing skills to be able to meet the deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with other team members
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good computer skills specially in Microsoft Office
- Must have Manual UAE Driving License
