JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, maintain quality standards, and optimise resources.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of similar experience, expertise in industrial packaging machinery (including Reifenhauser Blown machines and 3-layer/5-layer FFS & SHF machines), strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in production management software.

Description

• Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the production staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Production Management: Monitor production schedules and prioritise work assignments to meet production targets and customer demands.
• Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and procedures to maintain high product quality and reliability.
• Machine Optimisation: Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machine settings and parameters for maximum performance and output.
• Safety Enforcement: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment for all employees.
• Team Development: Train and develop production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance their skills and productivity.

REQUIREMENTS

• A preferred bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor, with a focus on Reifenhauser Blown machine operations.
• Strong expertise in operating and optimising Reifenhauser Blown machines, 3-layer, and 5-layer FFS & SHF Machines.
• Comprehensive understanding of production processes, quality control standards, and safety protocols.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve production goals.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, capable of efficiently resolving production issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in using production management software and systems for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
• The capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
