JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Professional Services Director required for a multinational Software Vendor based in Dubai UAE.
Client is a leading technology vendor with a strong presence in the region. The role requires a senior individual with proven international experience in managing, leading and growing large PS divisions. Experience with established big name technology vendors – i.e. Tibco, Oracle, SW AG, IBM, Microsoft, SAP or well-known consulting firms i.e. Accenture, PWC, Deloitte etc. in a senior management capacity is highly desirable.
The primary focus of this role is Delivery Management. You will have a team of PM’s and a lead PMO reporting directly to you.
Client is global market leader in providing niche software solutions to the central government industries across the globe. The role encompasses lucrative tax free salary + bonus
REQUIREMENTS
- 20+ years of professional experience.
- Extensive experience in delivering large scale complex technology transformation programs within the public sector.
- P&L accountability
- Good understanding of finance, accounting and marketing.
- Ability to draft and negotiate SLAs for large scale complex engagements.
- International & regional experience
- Strong people management
- Excellent command of English with fluency in Arabic deemed a MUST
- Proven track record in growing large PS division – recruiting and mentoring.
- Previous experience in large scale engagement and stakeholder management at CXO level.
- Previous experience in escalation management.
- Good Program Management skills
- PMP or Prince2 certification highly desirable
- Some travel will be required throughout the GCC (10 - 15% only)
- Experience in managing 50+ indirect reports
- Experience in managing services revenue exceeding 15 million USD per annum
- MBA in Business preferred..
