DESCRIPTION

Souq.com is looking for a dynamic and motivated Program Manager for our Regional (Middle East and North Africa) Marketplace team.

Amazon acquired Souq.com in 2017. Souq.com is the largest ecommerce site in the Arab world. Every month, Souq.com attracts more than 41 million visits to its catalogue of more than 8.5 million unique products in 35 different categories, including consumer electronics, household goods, fashion, watches, perfumes, toys, and baby products. Established in 2005, Souq.com today operates both as an award-winning retail business and an online marketplace that allows SMEs, merchants, brands and distributors to distribute their products online. With more than 4,000 employees, we have offices and local operations in UAE, Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and leading Product and Engineering centers in Jordan and India, offering a unique opportunity to join the leading player in an ever growing and exciting industry.

We continue to strive towards being Earth's most customer centric company. To achieve this vision our aim in Marketplace is to continue bringing new and relevant selection to our customers, whilst ensuring we do not compromise on the customer experience. In the Marketplace team, sellers are our customers. We want to drive aggressive growth for our sellers' businesses. The buyers are also our customers. And we want to drive growth while raising the bar on the customer experience.

This Program Manager role will design and implement programs across the region. Initially, the primary program under management will be the Product Quality (PQ) program. Managing this program will require close collaboration with the global PQ team, operational teams, and local Marketplace teams in UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

· Understand seller and customer needs, defining clear project plans and executing to high expectations in a rapidly changing environment.
· Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have the seller and customer experience firmly as your focus.
· Collaborate with cross-functional and geography teams such as operational and policy.
· Identify and analyze data and anecdotal input from sellers and customers to independently set priorities, gain consensus, test solutions and adapt based on learnings.
