JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to join a leading western Project Management Consultancy on a high profile 5* hotel project in Abu Dhabi.

This individual will have responsibility for managing a high level client relationship and lead and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, third party organisations, across an evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Driving and overseeing the project function of a large scale project in the UAE
• Leading day-to-day relationships with the client
• Managing the development and assisting in the delivery of a large scale construction project in line with current and future client requirements
• Creating and driving adaptable project plans to account for ever evolving technical, financial and market requirements across a diverse stakeholder and supplier environment
• Building, developing and managing an outstanding project team
• Managing third party organisations, taking an overall lead in delivery, including the management of supporting organisations

REQUIREMENTS

• A senior project manager/director with experience of leading a large high-profile hotel construction projects, ideally within the Middle East or other emerging markets
• 20 years at Project Manager level
• Demonstrable background in managing and integrating complex programmes of work. These programmes will have been challenging from a size, scale, multiple site, multi-disciplinary and stakeholder perspective
• Demonstrable experience of overseeing the end-to-end delivery of programmes.
• An ability to deal with ambiguity and the capability to lead effectively within a fluid and highly nuanced environment
• Keen to challenge and be challenged by those who they work with, at all levels
• Integrity – an inbuilt ownership and responsibility to want to deliver on the promised outcomes to clients
• Able to engage and manage team members and senior stakeholders
