JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Long established International Architecture firm in Dubai seek a Project Director for a prominent site in Dubai.
- Responsible for overseeing the construction of a large scale mall project, interfacing with their Client and managing this relationship as well as monitoring the Contractors performance and ensuring on time and quality delivery.
- Managing a large onsite team of Resident Architects, this individual will be reporting into the HQ Directors, updating the design office of major changes or progress reports. Key responsibility is contractor management and contract administration.
REQUIREMENTS
- With around 25 years experience post graduation of a Degree in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering this individual will have recent project delivery experience in Dubai/UAE within a consultancy.
- Project experience in the UAE MUST include LARGE SCALE MALL projects – successfully completed within an Architectural Consultancy. Must be hands on mentality.
- Successful track record of project delivery will be shown, of significant size projects, with financial and resource management.
- Contract administration experience, and FIDIC experience is necessary.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, written and oral, to represent this revered company to their clients.
- A manager who can drive the team and efficiency.
