Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our oil and gas team in Abu Dhabi. The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have technical engineering experience, strong leadership and project management skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Monitor and track project progress and performance.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Develop and maintain project documents.
• Monitor project scope, cost, and timeline.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex project issues.
• Develop and present project status updates.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
