Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical project engineer infrastructure to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support project design and implementation
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
• Implement and maintain quality control processes
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure project engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software
• Expertise in engineering principles and practices related to infrastructure development
• Experience in construction management and engineering design
• In-depth understanding of building codes and regulations
• Proven ability in cost estimation and budgeting for large-scale projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE and potentially internationally
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
