Manage all preinstallation works

Ensure availability of adequate and firsthand information of contractual scope of works and deliveries.
Follow up on material deliveries in conjunction with factory and supply chain.
Monitor shaft readiness and ensure shaft dimensions and areas per approved shop drawings.
Ensure adequate resource planning to meet project’s contractual requirements.
Request purchase orders for subcontractors and local materials in conjunction with project manager and supply chain.

Coordination with main contractors, architects, and consultant teams on the project requirements

Shop drawings, technical submittals, material samples, method statements, and inspection and test plan approval.
Plan and arrange logistics program for safe and timely deliveries of escalators and elevator material inside the building premises.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to main contractor (as applicable according to project requirements).
Attend weekly or biweekly meetings with main contractor.
Carry out technical coordination and planning to interface elevators with low voltage devices.

Installation phase

Ensure adequate resources are available.
Raise material inspection requests upon deliveries of materials and assure timely approval.
Ensure proper communication, letters, and records keeping with the main contractor in conjunction with project manager pertaining to all aspects of the project.
Follow up on installation progress through MS Projects, Primavera, or Excel spreadsheet as required.
Plan risk assessment prior to hoisting, rigging, and other critical activities.
Conduct toolbox talks (TBT), field pre-start assessments (FPA), and ensure all other safety aspects are adhered to as per company’s laid down safety procedures.
Raise trouble reports for any missing, short shipped, or defective materials and follow up on their deliveries.
Advise and support installation teams for any installation-related issues.
Ensure installation manuals, engineering drawings, and approved shop drawings are available at all times.
Coordinate with supply chain to ensure local materials are ordered and available in a timely manner.
Ensure in-stage QA/QC are carried out as per company’s laid down procedures.
Ensure testing and commissioning (T&C) plan and availability of adjusters to meet project’s deadline.
Ensure timely readiness of construction time usage as per project requirements.
Ensure completion of low voltage interfaces to elevator systems in a timely manner.
Ensure timely submission of monthly interim payment applications and follow up on payments.
Carry out third-party inspections as required.
Handover the units to customers in line with company’s policy and project requirements.

Coordination with internal supporting departments

Coordinate with local engineering team, factory team, supply chain, and finance on all relevant areas to fulfill project deliveries.

Manage and be responsible for the project’s budget

Including preparation and presentation of cost review to finance and management team.
