Job Description

As a Project Engineer - Architectural, you will be reporting to the Project Manager. You will oversee and inspect architectural works on-site for high-rise commercial and residential building projects across Dubai. The successful candidate will ensure that all architectural construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and local authority regulations including Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, and other governing bodies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections of architectural works (blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishes, etc.) to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Verify contractors' work aligns with local authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DDA, EHS-Trakhees).
• Attend inspection requests and coordinate with the contractor to ensure readiness before inspections.
• Review and comment on architectural shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Monitor architectural finishes and ensure quality control of materials and workmanship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in Dubai building construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and practices.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
