JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to meet project milestones effectively.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to address issues and optimize project outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, contracts, and technical drawings.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff and site teams.
- Ensure all projects adhere to applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Experience: 12–15 Years- ADNOC project experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of civil construction, QA/QC & HSE standards
- Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors & site teams
- Ability to manage drawings, execution, and progress reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry, preferably with civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management techniques.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Knowledge of UAE construction codes and safety standards is highly desirable.
