JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
As a Project Engineer specializing in Ground Improvement, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of geotechnical projects within the UAE's dynamic market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ground stability and ensure the highest standards of engineering excellence are maintained throughout project lifecycles. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee ground improvement projects from concept to completion.
- Conduct site assessments and geotechnical investigations to evaluate ground conditions.
- Design and implement ground improvement techniques such as vibration densification, soil stabilization, and grouting.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, site managers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards during all project phases.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ground improvement or geotechnical projects.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis and ground improvement techniques.
- Proficiency in engineering software and design tools relevant to geotechnical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Salary:
AED
15,000 to 18,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
