Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Engineer - Mechanical (STP) to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This critical role will be responsible for the production, verification and assessment of technical designs , plans and associated documentation during the different stages of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering and project requirements.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Performing preliminary and detailed design of mechanical elements in wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
- Producing design information as outlined in the design brief and the design philosophy in line with authorities requirements and as agreed with the Project Manager/Team Leader.
- Ensuring all calculations and drawings are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements.
- Reviewing, approving and processing all mechanical technical submittals.
- Designing of mechanical elements in wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
- Preparing and reviewing of technical reports, design drawings, and other deliverables.
- Coordinating and technical guidance to CAD Drafters to produce drawings.
- Attending online client meetings, as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years' career experience in designing mechanical elements in wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
