JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects on behalf of the Client, ensuring successful execution from inception through completion. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and coordination skills to manage consultants, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of projects in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Client, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design and construction teams to ensure seamless interface management
• Monitor project progress, cost performance, risks, and quality, and implement corrective actions as required
• Ensure full compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, local authority approvals, and statutory regulations
• Review and manage consultants’ and contractors’ deliverables, reports, and submissions
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and Clients
• Support commercial, contractual, and claims-related matters in coordination with planning and commercial teams
• Promote best practices in health, safety, quality, and sustainability across all project stages
Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or higher (Master’s degree preferred)
• Extensive experience within a PMC / Consultancy environment on large, multi-disciplinary projects
• Proven track record in managing major, complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong technical knowledge across design, construction, and project delivery processes
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts and UAE regulatory requirements
• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PMI, or equivalent are preferred
• Strong communication, reporting, and decision-making abilities
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Must be currently based in the UAE
