JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job summary
We are seeking a project/program manager to lead cross-functional technology initiatives, manage multiple vendors, and deliver complex programs that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with hands-on experience in waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery models.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Manage multiple vendors and third-party service providers for seamless program execution
- Establish and enforce project governance, planning, and reporting standards
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among IT, business, and operations teams
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Implement best practices in project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction
- Support change management activities for technology implementations
Required skills & qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing technology projects/programs
- Familiarity with UAE regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Proven track record in vendor management and cross-functional program leadership
- Strong skills in governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Hands-on experience with waterfall, agile (scrum/kanban), and hybrid delivery models
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and resource allocation
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills with C-level stakeholders
Preferred / nice-to-have skills
- PMP, PRINCE2, or agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.)
- Experience managing digital transformation or fin-tech/IT programs
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and integration platforms
- Experience in multi-national or multi-cultural teams
