JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• The major responsibility of the Projects Manager to ensure and facilitate successful delivery of Business-IT projects.
• The Projects Manager will focus on the coordinated planning, prioritization and execution of projects and sub-projects aligned to Taaleem’s business objectives.
• Work alongside Business and Technology leadership to effectively Project Manage the delivery of Projects across the business.
• To ensure projects are kept on track, budgets updated and the effective management of Risks, Assumptions, Incidents and Dependencies at a local project level and the wider portfolio of projects are road mapped.
• To ensure business planning and purpose is considered in all key decisions, and therefore must be involved with the discussion and decision-making process for technology, business and human resource investments on an ongoing basis.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
• Professional project management certifications - PMP or Prince 2 Practitioner.
Experience:
• At least 3 years of IT Project Management Experience to include experience in managing technical infrastructure projects, experience with ERP solutions.
Competencies:
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proven documentation skills in Microsoft Office & Project.
• Proven Project Status Reporting Capabilities with the available project collaboration tools.
• Ability to understand and translate complex technical ideas and information into easy-to-understand terms for non-technical people.
