JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Select vendors, places orders, may arrange for service contracts.
• Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on time.
• Maintains records and follow up files of purchases, shipment and related matters.
• Maintains files of description of available supplies.
• May inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Performs related job as required.
REQUIREMENTS
• Preferably with F&B experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in the same role
• Able to handle correspondence
• Liaising with suppliers
• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers
• Review purchasing agreements with suppliers and maintain open lines of communications with those vendors
• Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers
• Stay up to date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company
