Job purpose

To manage purchasing and sales activities efficiently by sourcing the best prices and quality from suppliers and factories, ensuring smooth order follow-up, and contributing to the company's profitability and growth.


Key responsibilities

Purchasing

  • Source and evaluate suppliers and factories locally and internationally to obtain the best prices and quality.
  • Request quotations and prepare detailed comparison sheets showing prices, quality, delivery time, and payment terms.
  • Negotiate prices and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Follow up on purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the design and production departments to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Maintain and update a reliable supplier database.

  • Sales

  • Handle customer inquiries and prepare professional quotations.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets according to company goals.
  • Follow up on confirmed orders until delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to stay updated on new products and promotions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, supplier performance, and stock status.

  • Qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing and sales (preferably in home décor, textiles, or retail).
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ERP systems (if applicable).
  • Ability to prepare clear and structured comparison reports.
  • Strong teamwork and time management abilities.
