JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Carry out international and regional purchasing activities in line with the organisations established procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely delivery of material in order to achieve safe and continuous operation of offshore assets.
- Send requests for quotations (RFQ); receive quotations; conduct price evaluation.
- Analyze quotations received for materials & services to ensure requirement compliance.
- Identify, evaluate & approve local suppliers.
- Monitor performance of local suppliers to ensure continued cost effective and quality service / material provision.
- Ensure timely follow-up and delivery of supplies and related logistics
- Conduct overseas purchasing, coordinate all related logistics movements, customs clearance and delivery to the stores or offshore assets as applicable.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years' proven experience in a similar role in purchasing / logistics in the offshore / marine industry.
- Candidates with an engineering qualification are desirable.
- Candidates with international experience are desirable.
