JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QAQC Engineer specializing in facade construction to join our team. The QAQC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of facade construction projects in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction QAQC with a focus on facade systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QAQC processes and procedures specific to facade construction projects
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of facade installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to address and resolve any quality issues or non-conformities
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and mock-ups related to facade systems
- Prepare and maintain QAQC documentation including inspection reports, test records, and quality control plans
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on facade construction methods and best practices
- Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to discuss QAQC matters and project progress
- Conduct training and awareness programs on QAQC requirements for facade construction to project team members and subcontractors

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in QAQC roles within the construction industry, with a focus on facade systems
- Strong knowledge of facade materials, installation techniques, and industry standards such as ASTM, AAMA, and EN standards
- Certification in QAQC or related field is a plus
- Excellent understanding of local building codes and regulations in UAE-Dubai
- Proven ability to perform quality inspections and audits, and to identify and resolve non-conformities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient in using QAQC tools and software for documentation and reporting
