JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Able to comprehend all applicable inspection tests and methods, including the Inspection Procedures.
- To carry out inspection of semi-finished products and finished products from suppliers as well as in process manufacturing and finished products. If and when required to conduct inspection of incoming raw materials.
- To document all the inspected product observations on the approved inspection records.
- To raise an NCR in case of non-conformity (product or process) and forward to the concerned department and to follow up to ensure conformity.
- Able to achieve the Quality Department’s Objectives by contributing to the ongoing improvement of quality products.
- Assist the QC Manager for special projects/assignments.
- To be fully conversant with ISO Policy & Procedures in relation to the Quality Control Department.
REQUIREMENTS
QC candidates with the following experience will be considered:
- 2 to 4 years work experience
- Furniture manufacturing industry experience is a must
- Good communication and report writing skills
