Job Description:
The College of Education is looking for a reliable Quality Assurance Lab Specialist to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met in relation to the College quality assurance system.
Responsibilities of this position are as follows:
• Overseeing the Quality Assurance Lab (QAL) by reviewing the efficiency of quality assessment systems and directing data collection, management, processing, and analysis;
• Draft, consolidate, and edit team visit reports for subsequent review and evaluation by the CAEP committee chairs
• Review data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Ensure the College key assessment data is disaggregated by programs
• Document internal audit
• Track Results over time and report on these results to the program coordinators/ Department Chairs.
• Report minutes for the Accreditation meetings and other meetings related to the College Quality Assurance System.
• Help in collecting, aggregating and disseminating key assessment data including completers' impact data, teaching effectiveness data, and program effectiveness data.
• Follow up on data collection with the College Assessment Committee on the CLOs and PLOs data.
• Follow up on data collection from other sources (e.g., advisory unit, institutional research office, etc.)
• Managing College assessment data by entering, storing, maintaining and verifying the College assessment data.
• Assist in the development of the College Quality Assurance Website.
• Prepare Quality Assurance System reports in collaboration with the College Assessment and Accreditation Committees.
• Serve as a liaison between College Assessment Committee, Accreditation Committee and the Office of Institution Effectiveness (OIE)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Preferred quality inspection, auditing and/or testing experience
• Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and other databases
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
