Our newest opportunity is for a talented Quality Assurance Manager to join our award-winning team based in Dubai , UAE .

This position is responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Assisting in Tendering process by preparing QA/QC related sections in proposals, responding to pre-qualification questionnaires, and assessing needed level of effort/ needed resource allocation to prepare financial model.
- Attending the project opening and milestone meetings. Facilitating Project Management Review meetings; collecting resultants recommendations, preparing statistics for management; i.e. conducted audits, issued CARs, close out details, Client performance evaluation details, complaints, compliments, actions from previous PMR meetings, etc.
- Preparing Project Quality Plans/ Project Execution Plans for new projects and seeking Client Approvals.
- Setting up Quality Control & Design Verification protocol for each project.
- Monitoring compliance with QC Protocol, tracking approvals of Technical Review Certificates
- Updating & Tracking Technical Review Registers for different projects.
- Monitoring compliance with contractual requirements; Terms of references, completion of submissions, inclusion of required attachments.
- Monitoring compliance with Document Control requirements; i.e. use of EDMS, Project collaboration environments, compliance to document numbering system, Client standards, etc.
- Implementing project internal and external audit plans as outlined in PQP; i.e. conducting audits on sub consultants, conducting internal audits. Following up with PMs for CAR closure.
- Driving risk and opportunity register and following up for mitigation actions with risk owners where applicable.
- Acting as a Construction/ Design Management Health & Safety Coordinator.
- Participating in Technical Tender Evaluation for construction packages as per contractual requirements.
- Delivering Project specific quality induction/ training, updating PQP induction registers.
- Providing support to project team in regards of project QC Protocol queries, advising of revised project procedures.
- Receiving Client/ PMC Audits, responding to audit interview queries, providing evidence to compliance with PQP and contractual requirements.
- Responding to PMC/ Client Audit reports; taking needed corrective actions to close out open Non conformities.
- Delivering Project specific Quality toolbox talks; Quality communication emails, guidelines, flowcharts, responsibility matrix, etc.
- Developing and calibrating Key Performance Indicators metrics/ dashboard as stated in PQP to measure performance and assess weaknesses and areas of improvement.
- Monitoring efficiency and effectiveness of Project team resolution of identified review comments and compliance with contractual durations.
- Monitoring and controlling external origin data input, design instructions, interim advice notes, standards, specifications, authorities' regulations, etc.
- Raising awareness of QMS required procedures between project managers by issuing reminders of needed processes at each project stage.
- Providing information to External Auditors for certification renewal/ maintenance audits.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years work experience of which 5 years should be in a senior quality related role on major projects partnered with a Bachelor degree in Engineering
- You should be a Qualified Lead Auditor and should have a good knowledge of construction in the Middle East.
