Job Overview:
Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products throughout the manufacturing process. Your contributions will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety in our rubber belt manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of production processes, materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and performance requirements.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, test plans, and corrective action strategies to prevent defects and ensure consistent product quality.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement quality initiatives.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and product specifications.
• Perform audits on manufacturing processes and quality management systems to ensure adherence to internal and external standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other applicable certifications relevant to the manufacturing process.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on quality standards, safety regulations, and proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Analyze data from quality tests to identify trends, determine root causes of defects, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and resolve quality issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized quality control lab and equipment for testing and inspection purposes.
Requirements:
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Officer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (experience in rubber belt manufacturing is a plus).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and tools, such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Proficiency in using quality control software, databases, and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in Quality Management or Quality Control (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ CQE).
• Previous experience in the rubber or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing settings.
Salary:
AED
2,500 to 3,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
