JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities Quality Assurance:

• To ensure timely and effective completion of the academic quality assurance periodic monitoring process.
• To provide professional and timely support to the Executive Director on Strategic planning specifically related to improving quality and quality monitoring.
• To oversee reporting requirements in relation to the work of Quality Assurance and accreditation.
• To create business processes within the area of Quality Assurance and Enhancement to provide business continuity.
• Ensure that the Quality Assurance and Enhancement strategies are reviewed and updated annually to reflect any changes in requirements by the Academy.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by the Senior Management Team and the Executive Director.
• Provide training to internal stakeholders (staff and students) and brief senior external participants on the quality procedures and events.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a relevant field.
• Five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
• High exposure to the Ministry of Education (MOE), National Qualification Centre (NQC), Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and Accreditation standards, rules, and regulations as well as to International Education Frameworks.
• Sound knowledge of all aspects of the Institutional Quality requirements at Higher Education and Training Institutions.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Ability to maintain strong documentation control.
• Ability to prepare and edit reports, documentation, and manuals to a high standard.
• Good skills in MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in using Google suite applications (Gmail, Google Drive).
• The ability to deliver workshops and seminars.

Desirable:
• Relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Experience in teaching and working at the HE level.
• Direct global industry experience.
• Knowledge of the external quality enhancement frameworks.
• Second or third language.
