JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Working knowledge of PWHT and the code restrictions on welding or repairs to vessels and piping that have had PWHT applied
- Identify non conforming work or materials, notify contractor and keep a record
- Prepare and regularly (daily) submit reports and maintain records
- Must be capable of providing oversight and discipline-specific guidance to Level personnel
- Perform incoming dimensional inspections on all internally and externally supplied machined pump parts to engineering print
- Carry out systematic inspection at each stage of surface preparation, painting/wrapping and repair works
- Verify the complete implementation of the approved Quality Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) at different stages of painting process
- Identify all defective or non-conforming work at each stage shall be rectified to the required QP standard
- Witness all contractors’ painters and blasters qualifications carried out by paint manufacturer, and evaluate their associated testing results
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate and Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Associates, Technical, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Supervision, Construction, Education, Information Technology
- Expert in relevant QC roles
- 5 plus years QC experience in Automotive, Aviation or Engineering
