JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor with an outstanding reputation and has worked on some of the most prestigious iconic building projects in the United Arab Emirates and Gulf Region. They are looking for a project quantity surveyor to be based in United Arab Emirates
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Day to day management and surveying aspects of the project.
• Preparing tender documents, cost plans, estimates and bills including fee management, job costings and resource requirements.
• Performing risk, value management and cost control.
• Preparing, submitting and monitoring variations, advising site team of results.
• Discussing and agreeing interim valuations and variations with subcontractors.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have:
• A BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (From a recognised UK University)
• 4-8 years' experience with UK Main Contractors.
• A strong core background/training with a Tier 1 main contractor with longevity
