The Quantity Surveyor and Estimator for Infrastructure Projects will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and managing the project budget from inception to completion. This role will also involve overseeing the procurement of materials and services, as well as ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the civil engineering and construction industry, with a strong background in quantity surveying and estimating for infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for infrastructure projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring that costs are managed within agreed-upon parameters.
• Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee the procurement process for materials and services, including issuing tenders, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with project managers to monitor progress and identify potential cost issues.
• Track and report on project costs, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and variations in accordance with contract terms.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide support and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and estimators.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
