JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
• Take care of the financial and contractual aspects of various Interior Fit our/Renovation projects.
• Ensure that contract strategies, tenders, contracts and variations are in full compliance with Policies and Procedures.
• Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the work in the project.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQ and tender documents for various projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project contract documents to ensure accuracy.
• Responsible for internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement team and engineers to understand project scope and objectives, offering insights to ensure cost-effective execution.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, material costs, and subcontractor pricing for cost-effective project execution.
• Perform cost analysis and risk assessments to optimize project budgets.
• Prepare progress reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost variance analysis.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to provide competitive bids, ensuring the company remains competitive while maximizing profitability.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to secure the best value.
• Monitor project costs during the construction phase, providing regular updates and recommendations for cost control measures.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and potential adjustments to the budget or scope, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, bids, and contracts, facilitating future project assessments and continuous improvement.
• Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of Contractors monthly payment applications and finalize the payment certificates with the assistance of the site team.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly report.
• Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
• Prepare Final Account with all supporting documentation
Requirements:
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering.
• Proven minimum 5 years of relevant Pre & Post-contract experience in construction/civil engineering/Interior Fit Out/Finishing projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and potential cost-saving opportunities throughout the estimation process.
• Good Experience of preparing Bills of Quantities & Cost Estimates for Civil/Interior/MEP work.
• Must have a sound knowledge of contractual relationships & claims management etc
• Good exposure to, both pre and post contract
• Communicate with the consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Good experience in using digital tools and software like MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Strong technical skills in cost estimation software such CCS (Candy), CostX or Bluebeam, RSMeans or other similar tools necessary for cost efficiency.
• Familiar with take-off software (Plan swift and/or on-screen take off).
• Expertise in Methods of Measurement (POMI, CESMM, NRMs, etc.).
• Knowledge of using SAP & ERP.
Salary:
AED
8,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
