Quantity Surveyor - Steel Fabrication Industry

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabrication Engineer to join our team in the steel fabrication industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our projects and ensuring that materials are of the highest quality. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves comprehensive management and preparation of tender documents for construction projects, with a focus on cost estimation, vendor negotiation, and ensuring compliance with contractual and design requirements. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams (such as design, production, procurement, management, and operations) and external parties (clients, consultants, and contractors) to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation, budgets, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), evaluating contractor claims, monitoring contract costs, attending pre-bid meetings, conducting site visits, and maintaining cost databases. Additionally, the role involves providing financial and contractual advice and participating in commercial presentations and audits.
