JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Description

- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
- Ensure that any goods coming into the hotel are properly ordered and in an acceptable condition.
- Ensure that the procedure is in compliance with applicable Hotel's policy.
- To discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner.
- Receive goods from Supplier with the proper and complete documentation.
- Verify the number of items or the weight by physical check.
- Examine both quality and quantity of goods received.
- Ensure that goods are promptly move to store or concerned department.
- Ensure that outgoing goods are properly documented and accounted for.
- Be responsible for all documentation (in FMC) such as the Receiving Record, Receiving Report and the Daily Summary Receiving Report.
- Recognize the name, trade, brand, categories, article, item etc.
- Ensure HACCP & ISO, & ADTA standards are maintained and required documentation are fully complied with.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department in keeping contact with suppliers regarding to the quality and quantity of goods purchased.
- Join the training program for staff in the area of receiving management.
- Maintain a good relationship with suppliers and other departments.
- Be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.
- Keep the receiving area clean.
- Contact the security in any case of doubt concerning the contents of the delivery.
- Help the kitchen associate in case of large volume of delivery.
- React in line with the procedures, in case of wrong delivery.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
