JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Successful and established design and engineering firm in Dubai seek a Receptionist to represent their company.

The first member of external parties’ encounter, expected to present a highly professional image of the Practice.

Core Roles & Responsibilities:

Telephone Communication
• Answer where possible all phone calls.
• Distribute them efficiently and effectively.
• Where required take messages and distribute them as tasks internally for Senior Staff.

Reception Duties
• Man the reception desk at all times where possible.
• Welcome all visitors with a warm, attentive and professional image.
• Ensure all senior members of staff are informed immediately of the arrival of any visitor.
• Ensure the conference and meeting room are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure all courier shipments are sent upon senior member of staff’s request.

Delegation
• Coordination of the office drivers
• Ensure if the reception is unmanned that the responsibilities are delegated to another designated member of the Administration staff.
• Other administration duties as required by Senior Management
• The ability to work in a busy environment is key and to manage the representation of the company to the highest standard.

REQUIREMENTS

• Based in Dubai already, this person will have had minimum 3 years administration/reception experience, with excellent presentation and expert administration and communication skills.
• Excellent MS Office and high WPM.
• Professional and Presentable demeanour.
• Team player and strong work ethic.
• Excellent English written and verbal a Must.
