JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Junior Recruitment Specialist is responsible for conducting various recruitment activities that will provide line managers with a suitable pool of applicants from which to select and for negotiating and finalizing contracts with candidates.
* Ensure the filling of vacancies utilizing best practices in the most efficient, cost-effective and timely manner.
* Conduct competency-based interviews, use appropriate assessment tools and check candidates' references.
* Liaise with line managers to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and preferences, as well as interview and select applicants who meet the specified criteria for the position as per the set company policy.
* Build effective working relationships with placement agencies, colleges and universities for recruitment purposes.
REQUIREMENTS
* A minimum of four years experience
* Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
* Experience using non-traditional methods to source candidates including direct sourcing.
* Candidate must possess a high sense of urgency
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong administrative and organizational skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Proven ability to establish effective relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, HR colleagues and external candidates
* Previous experience extending/negotiating offers to candidates across a variety of industries
* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals
