JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

An established law firm is now seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to join their Middle East team. Reporting directly into the Director of Business Development, the roles primary focus is to work with the leadership and the clients' key industry group to define and execute business growth plans.

Key Skills and Responsibilities
* Work alongside the offices and industry group to support and develop business plans, including accountability, best practice delivery, follow up and evaluation.
* Provide frontline support to the partners and lawyers across all key functions to develop business development opportunities.
* Responsible for coaching partners and lawyers to pursue targets, expand client relationships, provide strategy for selecting and leveraging practice and industry conferences, seminars and industry events.
* Identify market developments that may have impact on clients businesses and providing advice on effective marketing strategies.
* Work alongside the members of the global pitch team to coordinate firm wide resources for multi-practice RFI's and RFP's involving the offices and client industry group.
* Manage the BD budgets for the offices and client industry group, including planning and follow up plan for specific projects.
* Provide leadership for the defined groups/ office efforts to secure higher rankings in league tables and select directories.
* Work alongside the business research team to brief and produce research and analysis to support client pitches and client initiatives and to help both identify and convert market opportunities.
* Manage and track pitch and proposal activity and acts as an information conduit for tracking matters; facilitating internal and external communications process.
* Work in conjunction with the offices and client industry group to support media relation efforts to identify topical issues.

REQUIREMENTS

* Educated to degree level in the marketing/communications or business field.
* Minimum of 5 years business development, marketing and sales within a professional services or construction field.
* Proven project management track record.
* Prior experience developing client development/ sales plans and supporting sales function.
