JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Company:
Innovative and dynamic US based technology company is now looking at opening a regional office in Dubai to further support their GCC customers with a local presence on the ground. As part of accelerated growth in the region and a strong business pipeline they are now looking to recruit a locally based Head of Sales who will ultimately be responsible for setting up and building the Dubai office around them. This is a key position within their management structure and the successful person will be responsible for the following:
- Based in Dubai and reporting to the Global Head of Sales in the US you will be tasked with playing a leadership role in developing & managing the companys business in the GCC region
- Your key focus will be on building new and developing existing relationships with leading technology & consulting partners to leverage the companies innovative product range to new & existing customers primarily in the government, telecom / banking and large corporate sector
- Support the sales initiatives of channel partners in customer meetings along with technical pre sales team to demonstrate the product range and customization
- Identify opportunities for partner program to drive sales through joint marketing initiatives
- Be involved in regional technology and industry exhibitions showcasing the company product range
- Involved in leading the partner training programs on products & sales
- Overall sales & marketing strategy and recruitment of staff necessary to meet targets
- Recruitment and team management of staff as the regional office grows
REQUIREMENTS
- A Business / Marketing / Technology related Bachelors Degree / or MBA from recognized institution
- Over 10 years commercial experience in Sales & Marketing with no less than 5 years in a Senior / Regional Sales position within the GCC
- Strong experience in working in a Channel / Partner Sales related to IT (Hardware or Software) or Consulting related field
- Experience of managing both Direct Sales & Indirect ie. Channel Partners / Distribution Sales related to IT / Business Consulting
- Excellent relationships management, business development and account management
- Strong leadership skills, a team builder, high energy, enthusiasm, motivation & drive
- Excellent negotiation skills, communication & presentation. Ability to travel frequently is essential
- Preference will be given to Arabic & English speaking candidates
