The Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa region will be responsible for leading and managing a large sales team to achieve revenue and profit goals for the company, with a specific focus on the construction steel industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading sales teams and driving revenue in the Middle East and Africa regions, with a specific focus on the construction steel industry.

Client Details

Our client is an MNC specialised in the building and construction materials sector, the are looking to recruit a Sales Director to be responsible for Middle East & Africa to support their growth in the region.

Description

* Developing and implementing a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets of over 350 million USD in the Middle East and Africa regions, with a specific focus on the construction steel industry
* Building and managing a large sales team of over 45 people to achieve sales goals and objectives
* Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key customers and partners in the construction steel industry
* Maintaining a strong understanding of the construction steel market and trends in the Middle East and Africa regions
* Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales and overall business strategies
* Providing regular reporting and analysis on sales activities and results to senior management
* Managing the sales budget and forecasting future sales
* Leading sales negotiations and closing deals
* Traveling frequently to the Middle East and Africa region to meet with customers and partners

REQUIREMENTS

* Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar role in the construction steel industry, specifically in the Middle East and Africa regions
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue
* Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and managing a large sales team
* Strong knowledge of the construction steel market and trends in the Middle East and Africa regions
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
