JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the media industry. This includes analysing consumer demographics, preferences, and behaviours.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyse competitors' strategies, performance, products, and sales activities. Provide actionable insights on competitive positioning and market share.
- Consumer Insights: Gather and analyse consumer data through surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to understand audience needs and preferences.
- Data Management: Collect, store, and maintain accurate and detailed data from various sources, ensuring its reliability and validity for analysis.
- Reporting: Develop regular reports on market and consumer trends, campaign performance, and other critical metrics to guide strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Forecasting: Use statistical tools and models to predict market trends and consumer behaviours, aiding in the planning and forecasting processes.
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide recommendations based on research findings to support product development, marketing strategies, and other business activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to share insights and align strategies based on market intelligence.
- Technology Utilization: Employ advanced analytics tools and software to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of research and reporting.
- Presentation Skills: Present findings and insights to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Project Management: Manage multiple research projects from inception to completion, ensuring they stay within timeline and budget.
- Ethical Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards in gathering and using data, respecting privacy and confidentiality agreements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply advanced data management and analytical skills.
- Minimum of 2 years in roles demanding robust oral and written communication skills at various organizational levels.
- Experience in market research, financial analysis, or statistics, particularly within the media industry, is preferred.
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English, with business-level proficiency.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including macro writing and PowerBI management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
- High level of precision in statistical and analytical tasks is required.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate findings and present data.
- Critical thinking to objectively evaluate information and make reasoned judgments.
- Problem-solving abilities to address unexpected issues or results.
- Time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to adjust methods or focus in response to new findings or changing conditions.
- Empathy and cultural sensitivity to enhance collaboration in diverse teams.
