JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated young researcher at the Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology to work with genomic breeding group using the full range of breeding, genetics and genomic to address relevant scientific questions to the centre. The incumbent will be involved in carrying out field trials, execute breeding experiments, collect data, conduct analyses and maintain records of all activities. The post holder will be a member of the Genomic Breeding platform group with responsibility for carrying out and publishing research within the designated research theme.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification
Master's degree in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Life Sciences or allied subjects or bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience working on plant breeding and genetics.
Preferred Qualification

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Experience of conducting field crop experiments, hybridization techniques, biotechnological techniques, data collection, good knowledge of computer operation, etc
