Research Associate/Postdoctoral Associate

The Cyber Security & privacy lab (CSP-laboratory) of Dr. Christina Pu00f6pper seeks to recruit a post-doctoral or research associate to work on cyber security and privacy research of existing and emerging networks and communication systems, with a possible starting date in January 2025 (or later). The groupu2019s research builds upon the areas of system, network, information, and computer security. Candidates need to be skilled and comfortable with experimental work in cyber security. Although a postdoctoral/research associate candidate will be preferred, this position may also be filled by a research assistant in well justified cases.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and can work independently, has a passion for security and privacy topics in different application contexts, and is willing to learn new technologies. The candidate should have a PhD or MSc in Computer Science or a closely related field (BSc holders will be considered in justified cases). Relevant background and skills include:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join ongoing international collaborations as well as collaborations within the Center for Cyber Security at New York University Abu Dhabi.

Applicants for the postdoctoral position must have a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or closely related fields. Applicants for the research associate position must have a MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or closely related field. Excellent experimental skills are required.

The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
