JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Lead point of contact, co-ordination of consultants in all disciplines both within the project and of the interface with adjoining projects.
• Generally review, monitor, and report construction progress
• Manage and control project to meet time, scope and cost constraints
• Review and approved Joint Measurements
• Attend Progress Meeting with the Client, Contractor(s), to monitor the progress of work against the approved programme.
• Assist in contract administration
• Ensure compliance client requirements and specifications.
• Liaising with and advising the client on construction, quality and progress
• Issue site instructions as required
• Co-ordinate disciplines & resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Liaison with relevant Project Leaders/Team Leaders/Site Staff ensuring all parties are kept informed of all relevant matters in relation to the project.
• Providing technical advice with respect to the assigned work on the project checking project deliverables.
• Quality Assurance documentation and registers in relation to the assigned work on the project
• Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of your team
• Liaise with authorities, and ensure NOC's are updated
• Convene and chair regular progress / site meetings.
• Provide final approval of the completed works and arrange Handover.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in site supervision and construction field.
• Experience as a Resident Engineer in construction projects of substation/ OHL.
• Previous experience with TRANSCO/ADDC/AADC/EWE is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices, local and international construction codes and regulations.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Review and approve project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain quality and compliance with industry/client standards and regulations.
• Perform quality control inspections and assessments.
