JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager/Supervisor to lead the floor team of a fine dining restaurant. This role requires a "hands-on" leader who understands the nuances of managing a stand-alone restaurant in the UAE. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train, and motivate the front-of-house team (waiters, runners, hostesses) to ensure consistent service quality.
• Oversee daily floor operations, managing guest flow and reservations to maximize table turnover without compromising the guest experience.
• Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and resolve escalated customer complaints or issues immediately.
• Manage staff scheduling (rosters), conduct daily briefings, and oversee opening/closing procedures.
• Monitor hygiene standards, uniform codes, and service speed, ensuring the team adheres to company
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role as a restaurant manager / floor manager within the UAE hospitality sector.• Specific Background: Mandatory experience in stand-alone restaurants. Candidates with only hotel-restaurant backgrounds may not be considered due to the operational differences.
• Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Language: Professional proficiency in English.
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
