JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
As a Retail Intelligence Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing valuable insights into market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors. Your main goal will be to support strategic decision-making and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Analyze competitor activities, product offerings, and pricing strategies to identify strategic advantages.
- Utilize customer surveys, feedback, and data analytics to understand customer preferences and buying patterns.
- Gather, organize, and maintain relevant data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide market insights that support strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain market forecasts to assist in resource allocation and product development.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 years of automotive industry experience with a strong understanding of business operations.
- Proven experience as a Market Intelligence Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), with Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
- Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Experience in business intelligence software and development.
