JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The role will include:
- Provide the Department with long and short-term roadway asset maintenance and management plans
- Ensure the proper implementation of the existing Roadway Asset Management System in data acquisition, retrieval, distribution and analysis
- Supervise consultants collecting the performance evaluation data
- Develop and implement consultant audit plans
- Review various internal and external reports for approval and feedback
- Advise and guide local resources in the areas of roadway asset evaluation and inspection
- Develop and implement training programs for asset management and evaluation
- Assist the Department in preparing and evaluating prospective asset management projects proposals and bids as needed
- Develop and implement plans to improve the process of asset management in the Department
- Perform site visits to ensure proper asset inspection, maintenance, management

REQUIREMENTS

- The ideal candidate should have specialised in road maintenance / asset management field.

The role will include:
- B. Sc. Civil Engineering.
- Not less than 15 years of relevant experience in road maintenance / road asset management projects
